The Hub M2 is Aqara\u2019s most advanced and future-proof smart home hub so far, and it serves as a smart home control center for a wide range of Aqara sensors, controllers and other child devices.\u00a0The M2 will be available on the\u00a0Aqara Amazon US store<\/a>\u00a0starting from\u00a0June 8, 2021, followed by the\u00a0Aqara Amazon Canada store<\/a>\u00a0in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared\u00a0with the\u00a0previous\u00a0generation, the\u00a0Hub\u00a0M2 supports\u00a0the\u00a0Zigbee 3.0\u00a0protocol, which is the faster, more\u00a0stable and energy-efficient technology,\u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0can connect up to 128 devices*.\u00a0It also\u00a0features\u00a0an\u00a0Ethernet RJ45\u00a0port for wired\u00a0Internet\u00a0connection, providing\u00a0extra stability and\u00a0lower\u00a0response time\u00a0for better user experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover,\u00a0with\u00a0an IR transmitter built in, the Hub M2 highlights the\u00a0infrared control function\u00a0allowing\u00a0users\u00a0to control existing IR\u00a0home appliances, such as turning on TVs, projectors and TV boxes,\u00a0from any part of\u00a0the\u00a0room by voice\u00a0commands\u00a0and\u00a0via\u00a0local automations.\u00a0Users also have more flexibility when installing the hub thanks to its\u00a0Micro-USB power port, and it no longer takes up the socket space.
